Bio
I'm a CNRS researcher at LIP6, the computer science department of the University Pierre et Marie Curie. I've finished my Ph.D. at the University of California San Diego in August 2005. My advisor was professor Geoff Voelker. During my PhD, I split my time between San Diego and New Jersey (AT&T Labs - Research), where I worked with Jennifer Rexford and Tim Griffin on analyzing the impact of intradomain routing on BGP. Before being seduced by AT&T's network data, I was working with Geoff Voelker, Keith Marzullo and Stefan Savage on characterizing path diversity in IP networks.
Before going to the US, I was a student in networking at the Computer Network Research Group at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (GTA/UFRJ - Grupo de Teleinformática e Automação da UFRJ). I got both my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (1999) and my B.Sc. in Computer Science (1997) from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
